Wondering what to expect from our home tour?
Here are a few tips and things to note:
➔ Many of our visits will be private showings however, on occasion, there may be a previously scheduled open house or other showings scheduled at the same time. We can always find a space to discuss the home privately before and after our home tour.
➔ Each showing may last between 5 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the size of the home and how long you’d like to spend there. I’m happy to adjust to your speed and if there’s anything I should know that may cause us to need a bit longer, please let me know in advance and I’ll build additional time into the tour schedule.
➔ I recommend using the Compass App where you’ll see the details of our tour already added along with the property listings. Here you can make notes and also see the specifics of the home.
➔ If you have any questions that I can’t answer during our visit I’ll make a note and request the additional information from the listing agent after our visit - typically, we are able to get this to you within 12 - 24 hours.
➔ If we’re viewing multiple homes I’ll be sending out a calendar invite that has the starting location and order of homes in the description. I’ll keep this updated with any changes so you will always know exactly where we’ll be going.
➔ For any home that you are interested in, be sure to let me know so that I can follow up with the listing agent and get an idea of how much interest there is in the home. Whether or not you decide to move forward with an offer this will be useful to know in advance.
➔ Sellers may have audio and video recording equipment in their home. I recommend that we limit any conversation in or near the home to things that we wouldn’t mind sharing with them.
Things that you might want to bring with you:
A flashlight (I’ll have one too)
A tape measurer - if any exact room measurements are important
A snack and water if we’ll be out for a while
Comfortable shoes if we’ll be walking around (especially outside)
